Seafile (the tool used to implement Collaboratory.drive) provides a client app to access a Seafile repository directly from your desktop, tablet, or phone, i.e. not via a web browser.

For laptops/desktops, there are two clients available.

• The Desktop Syncing Client syncs selected libraries to your local computer and allows you to browser the files. It allows you to work offline on files in synchronized libraries, and it will synchronize these files again once you reconnect to the internet.
• The Desktop Drive Client allows you to browse files and makes them appear as though they were local, but synchronizes with the server in real time. It allows you to edit large files without downloading them entirely. However, it only works when you are connected to the internet with a fast connection.

You can install the Seafile Drive client from https://www.seafile.com/en/download/

Configuration

Once installed, when connecting in the client, select the Single sign on from the lower left hand corner (Windows & Mac) and type the server name: https://drive.ebrains.eu
